I absolutly love your work. Unfortunately, I cannot afford an original work but wonder if you make and sell note cards? Your most recent painting of the woman of Aweil “I’ve seen it all” is amazing. I recently read “Half the Sky” about “turning oppression into opportunity for women” and was quite moved. Your work is inspiring!

    • Hi Laura,
Thanks for the comments and glad you find the painting inspiring.
If you let me have your physical address and tel number I can do a limited edition print on canvas for you.
I will be doing note cards later in the year. Difficult here but definitely in the plan before June.
I don’t know the book. Will see if its available on Kindle

      • Dear Jan,
What a pleasant surprise to awaken to your email. It’s going to be a good day! (despite the cleanup from the weekend blizzard that dumped 2 feet of snow!). The limited edition print sounds very interesting…what is the cost? And while you’re at it, can you please tell me the cost of the same for “The Women”? I don’t know if I can swing it but I’d love to buy them both.
Thanks again for answering my email and your kind reply.
        All the best,

      • Good luck with the snow. hard to believe you are submerged while here the temperatures are in the 40 degrees celcius! Crazy world.
The prints are about $200.00. I will need to confirm when I get back to South Africa next week if that’s ok??
Alternatively, you can check the print prices on Saatchi.
        Again, thanks for the interest.
