Finally happy with the recycled plastic water bottle butterfly mobile. It’s effect under the uv-light fabulous. I won’t be doing any more, as they are incredibly time consuming. But, pretty.
Production line of butterfly painting for ‘White-on-White’. The butterflies sorted into groupings according to where they originate on the water bottles. Lines, textures and thickness of plastic changing the colouring. Keeping true to the bands of Agnes Martin subtle variations, absorbing the viewer.
Despite, the self-imposed deadline, I’m increasingly determined to do a full size, 6ftx6ft version, that mirrors the Agnes Martin painting size. That overwhelms.
200 days of lockdown. A fitting time to sheer the accumulated hair. Howling winds making the decision easier. Certainly, the easiest way to loose a gazillion Kg in weight! Although my blood sugars have gone crazy. Link between hair length and blood sugars??
