Acrylic and Recycled Water Bottle Butterflies on Wooden Block

My submission to the Art Society ’30 Shades of Green’ Exhibition. The small butterflies a tad trying to cut out and paint. A fair bit of mess.
Fabulous evening at Cloud 9 for Tim’s birthday celebration. With the weather turning chilly, as winter started to flex its muscles, grateful for the thoughtfully designed terraces and dining area.

A ‘Miniature Painting’ (8cmx10cm) SOLD and heading to its new home in Amsterdam.

A beautiful jewel of a painting (I still used minute brushes), to capture a mesmerizing male lion.

Coreta did a stunning dish of pork sausages, chorizo and chicken. Hearty scrumptious food with a sauce that cried out for crusty bread. My blood sugars not impressed!

Private viewing for a couple of American tourists. New friends made and paintings heading to the USA

In his time Jan has been an electronics, nuclear and power system engineer, a strategist, a humanitarian and an artist. A career path linked by creativity and innovative thinking. Initially trained at the Johannesburg College of Art, Jan has won numerous international awards and has exhibited nationally and internationally. He can be found in his studio ‘Jandreart’ located at Thesen Harbour Town, Knysna.
